2019 CARE Golf Outing Date Announced
The CARE Board of Directors has announced that the 2019 CARE Golf Outing will be held on Saturday, June, 15, 2019 at Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex, Wisconsin.
CARE President, Doug Meinholz said, “We are extremely proud to announce the 13th Annual C.A.R.E. (Cancer and Alzheimer’s Research Event) will again be held to benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation, The Alzheimer’s Association, Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter and The MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer). This event is always so much fun we’re thrilled to be able to host our lucky 13th event in 2019.”
All the friends of C.A.R.E. who donate, sponsor, and give their time and effort helping, we continue to have great success in raising money for our great charities. The CARE Golf Outing has been tremendously successful each of the past 12 years and 2019 is sure to be just as amazing. Thus far we have been able to donate more than $50,000 to such worthy organizations as the Prostate Cancer Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Association Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter and the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer). Our goals are always to help raise awareness and to support the research programs of these organizations.
“We spend all year working to promote our event and to attract donors and sponsors as well as golfers,” notes Meinholz, “This is a great event for companies and individuals to sponsor. There are lots of sponsorship options, including the putting contest, lunch, a hole, even the ball washers! We try to make it fun.”
Of course the event itself is a great day of golf with friends and family! Even for non-golfers we have tickets available for the dinner and reception only.
After golf the dinner hour includes dinner, door prizes, contest winners, and a truly exciting silent and live auction.
